Hey, peeps... I'm not monkeying around when I say that the group "Monkey House" is for real. Their latest album "Headquarters" (released in 2012) is excellent. I guess I have been in the dark, it seems, about these guys. I have just found about them and have given this album a listen on Spotify. What a great release! It seems that the leader of this band, Don Breithaupt, is and has been a Dan Fan for years, and the music shows it. If you haven't heard it yet, I highly recommend it. Guest artists include guitarist Drew Zingg and Michael Leonhart. Here is a link to the albums's website with some info on the group and album. I guess they have been around since 1992 (where have I been?), and have three previous albums, one of which includes a cover of Donald's "Lazy Nina". www.almarecords.com/artist.php?id=37

If you haven't heard it yet, I highly recommend it. I second that! A fine album it is for sure. As always, I recommend you get the hard copy or other format with at least 16bit/44kHz audio quality. It's very well recorded and produced, and you need the best available audio quality to do justice to that fact. Besides, it's the better way to support the artist of course. The CD can be ordered directly from Mr. Breithaupt via this email address: donbreithaupt AT rogers DOT com
